Contemporary Dance was developed in the early 20th century which used some of the techniques used by ballet, but at the same time pushed the boundries of free movement. In the half term, the Reigate School of Ballet and Commercial Dance will be joined by Mrs Hazel Collinson to teach stagecraft and musical theatre performance techniques in a one-off workshop. Mrs Collinson has been in the theatre industry for a number of years and she has a vast knowledge and experience of stagecraft, directing and staging musical theatre and dance numbers. She has taught today’s leading West End stars, including those in leading roles over the past 10 years.
