Private
Singing LESSONS reigate
Our private singing classes cater for children who wish to concentrate on a particular skill and / or improve their technique. One to one lessons or small group classes provide bespoke tuition tailored to each individual.
We offer private 1:1 singing lessons for children from the age of approximately 8 and above. We do not feel private lessons before this age are necessary - group classes and school choirs are more than sufficient.
Our classes are taught by professional singers - Tamasine Kimber & Lucy Parsons. Children learn about using their voices correctly, and vocal training is an ideal way to increase confidence and self esteem for all concerned and a perfect accompaniment for those who love to dance and want to focus on theatre all round training.
Children are taught:
-
stance & breathing correctly
-
diction and articulation
-
musical knowledge
-
interpreting songs and how to use expression effectively
-
a variety of different styles so that children become adaptable
Children are taught a variety of genres, and optional ABRSM examinations. Our teachers also prepare children for auditions and G.C.S.E. Practical exams. Lessons are usually 30 mins in length.
