RSB's supported CHARITIES
This year, we are supporting 2 charities:
SANDS, stillbirth and neonatal death charity
STRIPEY STORK - supporting local families - click here
We are supporting Sands, the stillbirth and neonatal death charity this year, in memory of a family member associated with one of our dance teachers, who tragically lost their baby this year. Incredibly 15 BABIES DIE PER DAY in the Uk from still birth or neonatal death, which is unbelievable considering the advances of modern medicine.
Sands helps families to cope with such a bereavement, and raise awareness of this common and devastating loss by raising money to help fund developmental research.
HOW CAN I HELP?
To raise money for this worthwhile cause, we are organising a huge picnic in Priory Park in Reigate for parents, carers and toddlers, weather permitting! The Reigate School of Ballet & Commercial Dance will be organising games, dancing and refreshments for your toddlers, so please come along to support this charity, as it can tragically happen to anyone.
All we ask is a minimum cost of 50p to attend, although you are more than welcome to donate more on the day.
date: 17th AUGUST 2017
where: PRIORY PARK, REIGATE (other side of the path next to the cafe)
time: 11.30am - 2pm
Please bring, your picnic, sun hats and suncream (hopefully if we have the weather) and plenty of water. We aim to make this a very happy event and hopefully we will raise a lot of money for this relatively unknown charity.
HOW CAN I DONATE?
Come along to the toddler party and enjoy the day, where you can donate 50p minimum or any further amount you wish. Additionally, you can donate online as well.
Please let's make this a charity to be heard in Reigate and Redhill, and please share this information with all your friends. 15 babies dying a day is 15 too many. Please donate now.

Stripey Stork is a very small but dedicated local charity based in Redhill, Surrey which was started by a group of mums, one of which is a mother who is associated with the Reigate School of Ballet & Commercial Dance, who wanted to see the items their babies and children no longer needed re-used in the local community.
The concept is simple. We take donations of new and pre-loved toys, clothes and equipment for babies and children and, after making sure they’re safe and clean, rehome them with local families in need.
The Reigate School of Ballet & Commercial Dance had their huge bi-annual show this year, and a percentage of the show's DVD sales will be donated to Stripey Stork. If you would like to donate directly, please follow the link below:
