At RSB, we follow the I.S.T.D. tap grades. This is a very popular style, evoloving from American dance. The dancer beats out different rhythms, wearing tap shoes to give a distinctive sound. Tap is used extensivley in musical theatre. The Reigate Shcool of Ballet and Commercial Dance have taught this popular style for many years, and the style continues to be as popular as ever in the commercial and theartical world.

REIGATE'S TAP CLASS SPECIALISTS

As with all our classes, pupils can demonstrate their progression when we invite parents during our watching weeks. This is a great way to see your child’s development and chat to the teachers.

All our teachers have huge tap dance teaching and performing experience.
