We have had a tremendous year to remember at Reigate School of Ballet & Commercial Dance, with a packed series of events for our children to enjoy and experience. The opportunities given to our pupils has been so diverse and we are so happy to be able to offer these on-going events at our school. Our puppies have grown! The Reigate School of Ballet & Commercial Dance sponsored two guide dog puppies last year, from some of the proceeds of their last major show. Both Ava and Yazmin are developing well. Here is our pupdate so far: AVA Ava is now starting her proper guide dog training with her trainer Georgina at the Redbridge training centre. You're enjoying tea and cake with your granny on a quiet midweek morning in the shopping centre, when suddenly loud music is played and H. Samuel's entire staff (presumably), start dancing in a well choreographed dance routine. Suddenly granny joins in, and everyone get into the spirit of the moment. Flash Mobs were first created by Bill Wasik in 2003 in New York, who believed in getting large groups of people assembling in a public place, and start dancing randomly to music.
Since our successful show in the summer of 2015, one of the charities we have donated money to this year is the Guide Dogs for the Blind. We decided to sponsor two puppies called Yazmin and Ava.
