We had a small number of our North Holmwood dance troupe representing the Reigate School of Ballet and Dorking School of Dance during the Village Day event at the Sports Club in Inholmes Lane, North Holmwood.
Their presence lit up during their performance and everyone enjoyed the event. A huge congratulations for their efforts and performance, and a big thankyou to all the parents who brought them to the event.
The event was organised by Jackie Jonston, whose main aim was to bring more cohesion into the village, and get people to turn out to a local event to foster a stronger village spirit. Forming these networks was an important step to building more networks with the people.
The Reigate School of Ballet and Commercial Dance has been teaching dance at the village for many years now, and we welcomed the opportunity to perform at the event. We teach Ballet and Tap at the Village Hall in Spook Hill, North Holmwood, from early years up to school year 4. After that, pupils and parents have the option to bring them to the number of dance classes held at the Reigate School of Ballet and Commercial Dance OR our Dorking School of Dance classes.
RSB and Commercial Dance has seen many changes in the village, and has always been a part of the community, offering dance classes for a number of years. All the classes are run by an ex-Royal Ballet School trained professional dancer, who has much experience in teaching dance, and inspiring children to love performing.
The classes at North Holmwood Village Hall (Spook Hill), are held on Thursdays:
4.15 - 5.00pm - BALLET and TAP (early years)
5.00 - 5.45pm - BALLET and TAP (Yrs. 1 + 2)
5.45 - 6.30pm - BALLET and TAP (Yrs. 3 + 4)
