At the age of 16, one of RSB's dancers will be leaving RSB to continue her path at one of the UK's top Ballet Schools. Millie, who has been with RSB since she was 3, has worked her way through the school and this year was accepted into no less than 4 top vocational schools in the country. She will be starting at the Central School of Ballet in London from September, where she will stay for 3 years before starting her professional career as a dancer.

A few months ago, Millie was accepted into the following dance schools to start in September 2021 -

  1. Rambert School of Ballet & Contemporary Dance

  2. Elmhurst

  3. Tring

  4. Central School of Ballet

Millie started at RSB when she was 3 years old and has never looked back. She has worked extremely hard, and her dedication has enabled her to progress to these highly competitive dance schools. To further her training at the Reigate School of Ballet & Commercial Dance, Millie studied contemporary, modern jazz, tap and street to give her the breadth of styles to make her versatile. This year, she gained distinctions in her Intermediate Modern and Intermediate Imperial Ballet exams with the I.S.T.D. and Miss Evans (RSB principal) is so proud of her and all the other girls that passed these extremely high profile examinations during a very challenging year.

Millie did her last bit for our school by helping out in our summer schools this year, and although we will miss her, we wish her every success and we know she will be back to see us soon.
