Try something new this September. The Reigate School of Ballet offer 3 free trial lessons to all new pupils AND all existing pupils wishing to try a different dance discipline. We offer the following dance disciplines - ballet, toddler dance, contemporary, body conditioning and limbering, modern, commercial street, musical theatre and tap. Many of our pupils take 2 or even 3 dance classes in Reigate or Redhill a week, and these pupils are often chosen for the external performances, such as in London. This year TWO major performances were added to the school's long list of performing opportunities - dancing with Strictly Come Dancing star Pasha Kovalev at the Harlequin Theatre in Redhill, and our ballet troupe danced an impressive choreographic piece in the round at the ROyal Albert Hall, London.
Learning new styles often gives pupils an insight into how influential other dance syles have on each other, and provides a more rounded learning of the dance world. If you are serious about dancing, a strong ballet technique is required in the professional world. The Reigate School of Ballet has always recognised the influence of ballet in the professional world, and the school is still recognised as an academy of excellence in this field, with teachers who can deliver an interesting and fun programme from 18 months to 18 years and adult.
So, TRY SOMETHING NEW TODAY! As we offer our unique 3 free trial classes, our dance lessons are open to all new and existing pupils. We know (from being parents ourselves) that 1 trial lesson may not be enough for pupils and parents to decide before financially committing.
Popular dance styles that go well together are - Ballet, Contemporary, Modern or Musical Theatre, Tap, Modern (all theatrical based), or Streetdance, Tap, Modern.
